RULES:

We are playing three rounds of golf

The first two rounds are with:

FOUR PLAYERS PLUS PGA Golf Professional (FIVESOMES) team format:

The third round we will ADD one CELEBRITY to each group

 Modified STABLEFORD BAJA SCRAMBLE.

Stableford scoring using

If you get an eagle = 4 points
If you get a birdie = 3 points
If you get a par = 2 points
If you get a bogie = 1 point
If you get a double bogie = 0 point

All players drive off of each tee box… After selecting the BEST drive or (BEST first shot on the par threes) REMEMBERING to use the required number of drives from each player, all players hits one shot each for their second shot and continues to play the each shot of each FIVE  PLAYER team until each ball is putted into the hole… NO GIMMIES.

Once any player has a net bogey, they must pick up their ball and one point is scored for the hole

Handicaps or estimates are registered.

3 of the 5 best scores are used per holes

-9 handicaps amateurs must use at least 4 drives including best shots on par threes.
10-14 handicaps amateurs must use at least 3 drives including best shots on par threes.
15-20 handicaps amateurs must use at least 2 drives including best shots on par threes.
21+ handicaps amateurs must use at least 1 drive including best shots on par threes.

• Golf Professional tee off from Gold tees

• Male amateurs tee off from Silver/White tees

• Seniors amateurs tee off from Yellow tees

• Women amateurs tee off from Red tees.

The final score for each hole is recorded by the PGA Golf Professional in your FIVESOMES. They record your GROSS scores for each hole.  At the end of each round each team must verify the correct scoring for each hole and that the TOTAL is correct by signing and attesting on each card.

Prizes will be awarded to closest to the pin on select par threes…longest drive on select hole for each course.

Desert rule – A ball played into the desert, may be brought back out of the desert and dropped within two club lengths, no nearer the hole, at the point in which it last crossed grass with a one stroke penalty. A player’s ball must be found, identified and placed in bounds before applying the desert rule.

Food and Drinks are available through out the course.

Turn in your card at the table outside of the pro shop on your completion.

Tuesday, October 12th Celebrity Golf Tournament Pairings Cocktail party, Dinner, Music and Awards start at 6:30pm at the  Puerto Los Cabos Fundadores Beach Club

Wednesday, October 13th Award Dinner and All Star Rock and Roll Concert party on the Island at the Puerto Los Cabos Marina.
